We took it slow, which turned out to be a good thing because over the second rise, there was a large snapping turtle sitting in the left track, sunning itself. I brought the RV to a stop, and it looked up at us but showed no interest in moving.
We also discovered new music. Literally–while tromping through a riverbed in the park, looking for photo shoot locations for Lexie, I stumbled across a still-wrapped CD in the mud.
