The first Miata I drove was a ‘99 model, as a press car, and I knew that I wanted one then.  Five years later, that dream came true.

What else is there to say?  I loved my Miata.  Chihiro was trouble-free and up for all sorts of automotive adventures, and she was sold under protest.  Yeah, that financial crisis thing, again.  And she would’ve been a fine daily driver, except that she was the only car I had at the time who was still carrying a loan payment.  Damn that pragmatism again.
